OctaFX Champion Demo Contest - Round 89: only the strongest will survive

Round 89 of the OctaFX Champion Demo Contest has finished.

1st place: Agung Kusuma Wardana from Indonesia

I am very happy to win among thousands of participants, getting cash prizes is great! I didn’t trade every day, so it didn’t take much of my time. I will try to take part in other contests OctaFX provides. My secret to success is to be patient and control my emotions when I trade. I don’t have any specific strategy, I’m just looking at support and resistance when opening a position in the market.

The most significant profit I had during the contest was when trading on JPY pair, and I don’t remember suffering significant losses. 

3rd place: Helmi Arif from Indonesia

I say thanks to God Allah, and I feel very, very happy I became an OctaFX champion. 

My advice to all the traders is to be patient and trade carefully. I use trading signals in my trading strategy.

4th place: Najam Ul Hassan from Pakistan

I am very happy. I tried my best to increase my equity and I am happy I’ve done my best. Thanks my Great Allah I got 4th position in this contest. I’m feeling very excited. I think I am a good trader and after winning this contest my confidence level is at its highest. 

I have been trading during the London session and New York session. Otherwise I just avoided in the other market session because I have a good idea about the London and New York sessions. 

I do participate in the other promotional contests like cTrader contest. I will take part in the next Champion Demo Contest, and I will do my best and try to win the prize again. 

My trading technique is waiting until the market reaches its support and resistance levels. I am using 30 SMA and the RSI indicator by using H4 and H1 time frame. When the market reaches its support and resistance levels I see the bullish and bearish candle according to the H1 and H4 time frame. Using this technique I managed to get +10,000$ with one trade in the contest.

5th place: Oksana Konovalova from Uzbekistan

I am proud that I managed to become one of the best among the large number of participants and win the prize. I spent a lot of time on this competition. I traded until the end, hoping to take an even higher place. Now, after this victory, I feel confident in my abilities and think about participating in other competitions that you hold. I already have a lot of experience in trading. I used my knowledge and controlled my emotions, which led me to victory. In this competition I mostly did news trading. I took into account not only economic news, but also political events. Trade was conducted on the main currency pairs. 

There were no impressive wins or significant losses during the contest. In accordance with the strategy, I had very steady growth in my balance.

To become a good trader, you need to work hard for several years. We need analytical skills to understand the interrelationship of many factors in the emerging market, and we also need to try to develop intuition. Only with this in mind will better decisions be made.
