Helping hand for earthquake victims in Indonesia
The earthquake happened on 21 November 2022, causing a lot of damage, resulting in many deaths and injuries, and potentially leaving tens of thousands of people without homes.
Recognising the need for long-term support, IDEP extended its humanitarian efforts until 31 January 2023, with our company's and other donors' support. IDEP's aid efforts include providing affected families with medical assistance, food, and household supplies. Additionally, professional psychologists of the foundation have provided PFA (psychological first aid) and individual counselling to people.
IDEP's programs have increased the preparedness and resilience of communities, enabling them to respond more effectively to emergencies like the recent earthquake. Although the recovery from the disaster is ongoing, our joint efforts have laid the foundation for the rehabilitation of the Cianjur district.
