Bringing literacy closer to Nigerian kids
The Keeping It Real Foundation (KIR) has been at the forefront of educational advancement for Nigerian children. In celebration of our 12th anniversary this July, we joined forces with KIR via the Book Drive Campaign. Together, we're setting up reading corners across seven significant Nigerian states and in Abuja. Each of these spots will host 150 books, aiming to spark interest and enrich the minds of children with limited access to reading materials.
'We are very grateful to Octa for contributing to this project for the third consecutive year. It holds a special significance to us, as in Nigeria, books are often the only way children can learn and acquire new skills. Our "Book Drive Campaign" provides them with a diverse set of literature on a wide array of topics—for every child to find something interesting to them,' a representative from KIR said.
Joining efforts with KIR and with your unwavering support, we are creating reading spaces for those who need it most and laying the groundwork for a brighter future. Your engagement enhances our efforts, directly contributing to the education of Nigerian children.
