1st place: Shahid Iqbal Rehan from Pakistan

‘I feel amazing as an OctaFX Champion.

I saw the contest’s promotion and gave it a try trading on mobile and tablet devices. It didn’t take much of my time. I simply followed my trading in the mobile application. I’ll now be taking part in other promotional contests. Actually, I already participate in other contest like cTrader Weekly.

The key factor that brought me to win is just following the trend. I think I am better than others just because of taking decisions at the right time.

My strategy was to increase the lot size as my balance grew. My most profitable trade brought me $33,400, which was a great deal.

I spent three years in the Forex market, and I learn a lot during this period.’

2nd place: Ratna Laelani from Indonesia

‘I’m happy to win at OctaFX Champion! I didn’t spend too much time trading, but I’ve been monitoring my position in the current rank. And in the future, I’m thinking of participating in OctaFX’s contest more actively.

I use Fibonacci technique and don’t open any positions if there are no signals. I’m not planning to switch to something new, as I feel comfortable with my current strategy. In this round, I traded and grow 10% every day.’

3rd place: Akmal AB Rahman from Malaysia

‘I’m a little bit disappointed as the winner was chosen by balance rather than equity by 5 AM. This was my second try; the first time, I came seventh in the Weekly Demo Contest, and I will certainly participate in the upcoming events. I spend around seven hours a day trading.

I win because I apply analysis rather than just gamble, like other participants may do. Which is why I analyse the market before placing an order.
