How twenty-five Indian villages received the much-needed help during COVID-19
As the communities around the world are faced with the threats of COVID-19, many businesses and foundations unite to help those in need. We decided to step in and help India fight the pandemic together with the Vallalar Educational Trust.
The foundation describes its mission as 'Educating and empowering the less privileged through integrated methods and initiating and implementing progressive social change.' When the pandemic hit, the Vallalar Educational Trust also focused on delivering essential goods and food to the most vulnerable.
We decided to combine efforts with the foundation and donated 6,250 USD (471.954 INR) to provide direct help for those most affected by COVID-19.
The Vallalar Educational Trust used the donation to deliver essential items to struggling families and people with disabilities in twenty-five villages. At least twenty people in each village received food, including rice, vegetables, cooking ingredients, and other provision.
We are committed to continue our charity efforts and help fight COVID-19.
