Octa builds a Forex trading community in Malaysia

Learn to Earn seminar

The trading seminar took place on 18 November 2023 in Kuala Lumpur and hosted more than 120 participants. Both beginner and experienced traders benefited from this free event, as it covered all the topics essential for successful Forex trading: how to open profitable orders, develop and improve a strategy, manage and mitigate risks, and control emotions while trading.

Gero Azrul, full-time trader with 17 years of experience and author of the best-seller 'BBmastery The Game Changer'
Cikgu Danie, full-time trader with eight years of experience and Forex trading coach
Mohd Shukri Mahadi, professional trader, book author and YouTuber
Jessica Sin, finance professional with seven years of experience and the ‘Best Crypto Trader’ award recipient.

One of the event highlights was an opportunity for each participant to discuss their own trading-related questions with expert traders and receive personalised consultation on their strategy. The event also included multiple coffee breaks so that participants could discuss their trading experience over a cup of coffee and enjoy tasty snacks to recharge their batteries. Finally, each participant got an Octa merch pack and had a chance to receive other gifts by participating in quizzes.

Trading 101 workshop

The free workshop took place on 24 February 2024 at the Holiday Inn Express conference hall in Kuala Lumpur. This time, we mainly focused on meeting the needs of our beginner traders who sought a step-by-step guide on how to learn to trade from zero, make the first profit, and keep their strategy safe and sustainable.

We partnered with Ezone Constantine, a professional investor and trader in the stock and Forex market, to conduct the workshop. Ezone is a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) in the U.S. and a Full Member of the Society of Technical Analysts (MSTA) in the U.K. At the workshop, he covered topics like things to know before trading, getting started, technical analysis, simple trading techniques with Cycle Channel Oscillator (CCO), and top challenges faced by newbie traders and how to overcome them.

It was a pleasure for me to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring traders and help them explore the intricate balance of the three foundational pillars every trader must master: Mindset, Money Management, and Methodologies,’ said Ezone.

Similar to our other events, the guests received complimentary gifts, such as Octa branded T-shirts and 100% deposit bonuses. Yet this time, we went one step further and collaborated with Ezone to provide his elaborate online trading course worth over a thousand dollars for free to the participants who deposited with us. This allowed aspiring traders to keep learning beyond the workshop and master their trading skills under professional guidance.
