OctaFX Champion Demo Contest, round 74: everything is possible

Round 74 of the OctaFX Champion Demo Contest has finished.

1ST PLACE: MOHAMED ELHADI FROM ALGERIA

First of all, I want to thank OctaFX for this great contest! Being the winner of this contest is an honor for me. I would also love to win cTrader contest as it also provides good competition.

I was very involved in the contest and spent hours looking at the chart and trying to make the most of trades but this time I've just been trading like I would do on a real account (with a little bit more leverage of course).

I think that the only thing that helped me to win this contest is the fact that I was realistic, I wasn't looking for the most number of trades I can take but for the trade that could give me the best risk/gain ratio.

My most considerable gain was a short position in EURUSD, but to be the winner of this contest the main trade was the one on USDJPY. I looked for the best chartist signal I could get, and that's what happened with my buying position on USDJPY because once I made more than 1000% profit I gained confidence which I think is the most important.  Also I had only one trade in loss.

I think that the most important thing to learn is money management, once you can control it you will be a good trader.

2ND PLACE: SAFITRI YUSINTAWATI FROM INDONESIA

I am very happy to be the winner of this contest, will definitely participate again! I traded only in the last week of the contest, so I did not spend all of the time.

What I do is I follow the trend and I trade on EURUSD only. My most spectacular trade was when I got profit of 10000% in 1 month. In my opinion it takes 5 years to become a good trader.

3D PLACE: ANITA SARI FROM INDONESIA

I am very surprised to be one of the winners and I did not expect to win as I was spending not a lot of time trading in the contest. I also hope to participate in other promos, because I see a lot of interesting promotions OctaFX offers.

My trading strategy involves searching for market trend, it can take a long time, but I always succeed this way. I also install tight stop loss for real trading.

The biggest profit I got during the contest was the trade on GBP/USD and I did not have significant losses in this contest.

I think that it may take from 1 to 2 years to become a good trader, depending on the abilities of a person.
