NZD/USD ends week unchanged

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD finished Friday and the week unchanged at 0.8530 at the same price it close last Friday. On Wednesday the pair peaked at 0.8639, the highest price in almost a year, but then, as the US dollar strengthened across the board, pulled back.

The retreated from 0.8639 found support at 0.8500 from where the pair bounced to end the week around 0.8530, after losing daily gain on Friday during the American session.

Outlook for the NZD/USD

The pair finished the week flat after rising in the previous three, unable to consolidate above 0.8600. The rejection from those levels could signal some bullish exhaustion, but the trend still points to the upside.

Above 0.8600 the next resistance lies at 0.8630/40 (March highs) and 0.8670 (2013 highs). To the downside support levels could be located at 0.8500 and below here at 0.8430.
